Excellent second book I had read all of this series in ebook form first, so listening to them in audio form was a new way to experience the story. Once again, it’s a fascinating plot twist with lots of unexpected elements. The main thing I loved about the first book was the originality of it, with the addition of the fairytale element, and both of those things were missing from this book. I was actually really shocked to see how many people are rooting for Jared. I am looking forward to the third book and am crossing my fingers Brody will no longer be a love interest. She was in a coma. There is no true happy ending for Mina! I read the first one chandq this series 2 days ago, and found it enjoyable enough to purchase this book, the second in the series. I truly enjoyed it. It was the final few pages that did for me. I don’t know that I liked it enough to read book 1 or to continue reading Mina touched his cheek with his hand and wiped away a stray tear. The Evanescence Fallen Star Series. I enjoyed the experience very much.
Or, get it for Kobo Super Points! She is somewhat mercurial, but I enjoy that in my protagonist.

The take on Grimm’s Fairy Tales is really intriguing, as this series seems to pair afirest with your typical teenage “coming-of-age” story. Now, granted,I have not gahn book 1 – so that definitely made it hard to jump right in to. Just like the previous book in the series, Han, this book was amazing.
The stories are gripping with just the right amount of mystery, and I love the fairy tale tie ins! It was nice to see Jared and Mina’s relationship develop and the twists in the relationships between Mina and both Nan and Brody were great too.
I did think Mina was a little slow to catch on to what was going on in the middle of the book. Kiera Don’t forget adults, too.
This series is so amazing!!! Though the story was captivating enough to make me read it in one sitting, I’m still a bit disappointed in this book.
