The concept is original though. It was somewhere around Christmas.
The love triangle between Ben mysterious and brooding and Adam sweet, hot, and understanding persists, and the side-kick Since I’d already wecret the first three books in this series, I decided to take on the fourth installment when it showed up at my local library. I mean seriously half of the stuff that happened in this book was way differnt then what I thought would occur. Can’t wait until it comes out! Before I read this, I went to the author’s website, and she wasn’t telling who the other girl Ben was seeing was, so I thought, “Oh no, is it Rena Maruso?
Camelia is sexret starting to get more weird photos and letters. It’s great if you have had a really bad week at work, and just want to be entertained without having to think about anything too much ; Maybe this will be explored more in the third book, which is due to be published late However, Camelia starts to get weird mail send to her at home again.
At some point it did slow down, but it always thrilled me to see what was going to happen next. Camelia is always getting herself is some sort of situation, but what do you expect from someone with supernatural abilities and Nancy Drew tendencies I love this series!!! Jul 29, Picture Perfect rated it deavly liked it Shelves: Its already the second book and we still barley know Ben.
Camelia runs out into danger January 28, 41 32 Jan 31, The tension between the two is well written. Camelia feels weirdly attracted to this boy, Ben, despite rumors that are getting wilder by the minute and his obnoxious behavior towards her.
From his pain, you can see that he needs to open up. I wasn’t extremely excited that the first half of the book was so much like twilight.
Deadly Little Lies
And Camelia’s family drama is contrived. He tries to cheer her up when she’s sad and attempts to get her to open up to her feelings.
Because now they’re chemistry partners, so what if? Overall, this book was great. And what she gets out of the sessions is the fact that she has a choice.
Book Review: Deadly Little Secret by Laurie Faria Stolarz – Jessica Lawlor
Starting a few months after Ben leaves Camelia’s life, the story immediately takes off with a burst fzria heart pounding action that just keeps on r Deadly Little Lies, the sequel to the first book in the series, Deadly Little Secret, definitely lives up to its promise of more litle, romance and plot twists.
Laurie always manages to take you by surprise even when you think you have everything solved. The big climactic scene is one that is filled deadpy whoa, whoa, whoa and the plot twists just enough to make you want to keep reading. I still liked the story, but a second read pointed out how slow this story is, there is plot movement, but it takes forever to happen.
Apr 07, Renee rated it it was ok.
So sixteen year old Camelia feels a little like an old lady. I also didn’t understand how every guy that Camelia talked to seemed to liked her. Ben, or all the other people telling her not to? One gloomy day as Camelia walked, something unexpected happened, she almost got run over by a car, a mysterious guy reached out and saved her life.
Without making this spoiler-ish, I will hint at the fact that this plot is very believable and yet it’s about a familiar for the series predicament — someone’s stalking a student at Camille’s high school.
Deadly Little Secret (Touch, #1) by Laurie Faria Stolarz
Even the litt,e scene is unbelievable. There were quite a few similarities in the plot as well 2. Laurie Faria Stolarz really knows how to construct an elaborate plot to flow with such ease, and continuously keep you on the edge of your seat with the mystery swcret romance of the narrative. A few dates and one chaste kiss later, Camelia and Adam are together in a manner of speaking and you are left with one jealous Ben. I just now have higher expectations for the next book to solve these issues.
I like his character, but I feel like they are not right together.
